Robot Duck is a small studio that builds themes and plugins we wish we'd had when we were shipping client sites — fast, block-native, and built to hand off without a support hangover.
The short story
We spent nine years building WordPress sites for agencies and clients, and we made every mistake along the way — the page builder that ballooned to 400KB, the theme nobody could hand off, the plugin that broke on the next update and turned a launch into a week of firefighting.
Robot Duck is the fix. Every product starts from the same principles: native blocks over proprietary builders, published performance over promises, and a clean hand-off so the people who run the site can't accidentally break it.
What we believe
- Standards win. If WordPress can do it natively, we don't reinvent it. That's why our themes keep working after core and plugin updates.
- Speed is a feature. We measure Lighthouse on live sites, not demos, and we publish the numbers.
- No lock-in. Everything is GPL. Deactivate a Robot Duck product and your content is still standard blocks.
- Craft is quiet. The best sign we did our job is the phone that doesn't ring after launch.
